Leona started life like any other child living near the rain forest of Brazil.  Her family was loving and she didn't have a care in the world.  At age eight a strange man came to visit her father.  Unknown to Leona at that time was the fact that her father, Guidel was a member of the Orochi clan.  And the strange visitor was Goenitz, leader of the clan.  He came to get the assistance of her father in resurrecting the god Orochi. When Guidel refused him Goenitz became enraged. He then used his power to cause the young Leona  to experience a "Blood Riot".  In the moments that followed Leona's life was turned upside down. When she recovered she found herself cover in blood, her parents' blood.  On the ground in front of her were the bodies of her mother and father. She was latter found by a group of soldiers and was taken to their base. Heidern, the leader of  the soldiers recognized her potential when she slashed a tree with her bare hands. He adopted her and started her military training.
 
 

Story:

 Ten years Later, Heidern gave Leona the assignment of taking his place in the King Of Fighters Tournament. Her real assignment was to keep track of Geese Howard. Later in that tournament she was confronted by Goenitz. He revealed to her that she was of Orochi blood and she had killed her parents. This revelation disturbed Leona so much that her next mission was nearly a failure.  In an attempt to get her mind off events of the past year she along with Ralf and Clark reentered the KOF. Things were uneventful until in Bali Leona and Iroi Yagami began to act strangely.  Leona was trapped in another Blood Riot.  Leona and Iori reeked havoc in the city. It took Ralf, Clark and some other fighters to restrain Leona. After she recovered she tried to kill herself but she was stopped by Ralf. After two years of dealing with her past, and two more years of fighting the N.E.S.T. Cartel Leona decided it was time to take a break from the military life.

Leona came to Anime Island to escape the rut her life was in. However she found that she was in a strange city with no place to stay. With no other options she took up the offer to stay at Dre Alexander's house. Living with Dre provided Leona with a change of pace. Going on adventures and fighting in the UCTF helped her recover from the other stresses in her life. She had taken a liking to Dre and supported him in his fighting. However duty called once more. She was sent on a mission to destroy a cloning lab run by a former N.E.S.T. scientist. During the mission she discovered that Dre's old girlfriend, Sandra was still alive. She was now a Cyborg and hell bent on destroying Dre. After that mission Leona was featured in a cage match against Chocolate Misu. Injured during the match, Leona lapsed into a coma.

While she was in a comatose state a darker more sinister personality began to surface. This change was so dramatic that she shocked the entire UCTF when she joined the most hated stable in the organization's history, "The Dark Horsemen." Rejecting the man who stood by her since she arrived, Dre Alexander.

She became Roger Smith's "assistant" and was by his side at all times. However at the PPV event Inferno things changed. While protecting Roger from Heero Yuy, Leona was ran down in the parking lot by Roger. During which he informed her that her services would no longer be needed.  Badly injured, Leona vowed never to stick her neck out for anyone again.

After being sidelined for a couple of months Leona returned to action with two quick wins and earned her first title shot against Will Clarke. The fight was close, but eventually she lost. It wasn't long before she stunned the crowd again and joined the second most hated stable in the UCTF, the Militia. It was at this time she saved her biggest shocking moment for Dre Alexander. A few weeks after accidentally burning down his house Leona went to Dre to make up. Playing on his feeling for her she was able to get him to take her back. The love affair was short lived as a week later she betrayed him in a tag match against X and Recon. The betrayal went to its ultimate end when she locked him an ambulance and crashed it into a  fully loaded tanker truck, killing him.

With her reputation as the "Cold Hearted Bitch" firmly entrenched she moved on to another title shot against Reed. With the help of X and Recon she was victorious and became the Interplanetary Champion.  A controversial win over Miko Selenes reconfirmed that she was no longer a fan favorite. However the biggest upset of her career was ahead of her. Facing the infamous NNNN she expected it to be a walk in the park, but to her surprise she lost (with a little help from Heero Yuy) to what most people felt was the second most laughable fighter in the UCTF.

Losing to NNNN left such a bad taste in her mouth that she worked hard to prove that it was just a fluke. She reached the finals of Only The Strong. And barely lost her rematch against William Clarke. The rift in the Millitia began to take form during the NNNN Battle Royal. When Leona and Suicide battled each other for tha chance to fight NNNN. Months later the two would face each other again with the Interglactic Title on the line. X and Recon, Suicide's sidekicks turned on him helping Leona gain another title. Winning however, wasn't enough whe wanted to destroy Suicide. She would have succeeded if Heero Yuy didn't step in.

Leona's reign as Interglactic champion was short as she lost the title in a three way match against Christina Callad and Andre Tau. She faded into the background while she plotted her next move. But one stromy night a figure from her past came calling...

Evil Leona

On September 8th Leona faced Chocolate Misu in a steel cage match during which she suffered a blow to the head that placed her in a coma. A week later when she awoke an evil alter ego surfaced.  Being the polar opposite of her normal personality Leona saw the world in a much different light. Her new sinister personality led her to join the group that she felt fits her best the Dark Horsemen. Besides her personality the most obvious change has been her fondness for the color black. She loves the color black so much that she dyed her hair black. She hates kids and small animals and will go out of her way to inflict pain.  She has a short fuse and doesn't take insults well. One of her favorite hobbies is tormenting Dre Alexander.  After a victory Leona takes her knife an carves an "L" into her opponent. It's uncertain weather she does this to mark them as a loser or as a reminder of who beat them.

Orochi Leona

Leona was never taught how to control her Orochi power. Although she is starting to understand it, she has to yet to bring it completely under her control. When she is in her Orochi state she is out of control. Acting more like a wild animal, she will attack the closest person to her. Leona's speed and strength are doubled making her even more dangerous. The only way to stop her is to knock her out or to restrain her until the blood riot runs it's course.

Leona Crush:
Leona uses her hand to stab her opponent in the gut.  As she pulls back she is covered in a spray of blood.

Order Buckler:
Leona grabs her opponent by the head and whips them around tossing them over her shoulder.

Heidern Inferno:
Leona jumps and catches her opponent in the air, slashes them and then kicks them away.

Widow Maker:
A straight forward knee to the groin

Death March:
With her opponent on their back Leona grabs their legs and repeatedly stomps on their crotch

Strike Arch:
Leona performs a sweeping ax kick.

Moon Slasher:
Leona crouches then quickly slashes her hand around her forming a circle.

Baltic Launcher:
Leona yells and creates a green ball of energy.

Ground Saber:
Leona charges her opponent very low to the ground and then slashes them.
Note: This move can go under most chest-high projectiles.

Gliding Buster:
After the ground saber Leona then kicks her opponent up into the air where she slashes them two more times.

X Calibur:
Leona jumps at her opponent slashing with both arms forming an X.

Earring Bakudan(Bomb):
Leona takes her earring and tosses it at her opponent. It explodes on contact.

Heart Attack:
Leona plants a bomb on her opponent and then she detonates it at her leasure.

Killer Touch:
Leona runs past her opponent planting a bomb that explodes two seconds later.

V Slasher:
Leona jumps into the air and then slashes down and then up forming a giant V.

Rebel Spark:
Leona rushes forward, grabs her opponent, and stabs them with her dagger.  She then pushes a stick of
dynamite into the wound, looks away, and her challenger explodes.
Note: This move can go under most chest-high projectiles.

Gravity Storm:
Several standing attacks followed by a kick that knocks her opponent into the air.  If it hits, she jumps up, impales her opponent with a dagger, pushes a stick of dynamite into the wound, and then her opponent explodes.

Grateful Dead:
Leona jumps into the air grabing her opponent and then performs an energy drain attack.
