Description: Dre is taller than average, but not imposing.  He's well built and very athletic. When fighting he dresses in a black T-shirt, Black cargo pants and boots.

Personality: Dre is a fun loving type of guy.  He doesn't hold grudges for too long. He'll be your friend out of the ring but in the ring he's all business.
 
 

HISTORY:

Born Andre Alexander II, Dre is the eldest son of Andre and Marie Alexander. His father, a famous archeologist was also the founder of the fourth largest shipping company in the world, ASI (Alexander Shipping Inc.) Although he came from a well to do family, Dre never let the wealth dictate who he was. Driven by thrill of adventure, Dre followed in his father's footsteps. However, he earned the reputation of being more of a treasure hunter than a scientist. This led to some minor run-ins with govenment authorities around the world, but he was always able to get out of any real trouble.

Dre always had been considered lucky until one trip to Japan.  During a hike in the mountains Dre found a sword near some hot springs. Keeping the sword set his life on a path that would be dotted with death and sorrow. Unbeknownst to him the sword was the demonic blade the Mekki-Maru.  And the former holder of that blade, Taki was tracking him.  On his flight home Dre's plane crashed. He survived but was attacked by a shark in the waters off the Japanese coast. Surviving that Dre eventualy made it home.  There his girlfriend, Sandra Palmer was waiting for him.

It wasn't long before Taki found him. In his apartment he was jumped by the ninja. But before she could get what she wanted, Sandra entered with a gun.  Dre was accidently shot by Sandra allowing Taki to escape.  After another run-in with Taki, Dre and Sandra headed to his parent's home to hide out for a while.

A year later Dre, Sandra, and his group known as "Treasure Hunters Inc." went on a  series of expeditions to remote and exotic locations.   With their wedding only a few months away they on one last expedition near India. There they came across a temple filled with gold and jewels. Greed kicked in as they took as much as they could carry. However,  none of them got the chance to enjoy it. Unseen attackers descended on them as soon as they stepped out. Running for their lives they dumped the treasure. But for Dre the price was even greater.  Sandra along with two of his partners were killed. After Sandra's death, he vowed to stick to serious archeology.
 
 

STORY:

After the death of Sandra, The distrot Dre moved to Anime City. There, Dre hoped to forget his loss. He went to work for his father's company as the head of  West Coast operations.  He kept a low profile and had no intentions of fighting until he met Leona.  She had just come to the city and had no place to stay. Being the person he was he offered her to stay at his home.  Which she accepted.

At first Dre and Leona's relationship was that of a guy who was helping out a person establish themselves in a new city. After a while Dre and Leona became close.  Soon after he joined the UCTF and gained early success. With Leona by his side he earned a Title shot. Although he lost the Dustmaster title match he was condidered a serious contender in the UCTF. At the same time Leona became a bigger part of his life. She joined him on expeditions and began to fill the void in his life left by Sandra's death. For Dre things were looking up until fate stepped in.

Dre wanted another shot at a title. He went to then commishiner Roger Smith and asked for a gauntlet match for the Anime Title. Smith agreed under one condition that Dre had to do something for him in return.  The match went on a Dre started out good but ultimatly failed to win the belt.  A week later he could only watch as Leona lapsed into a coma after a match with Chocolate Misu.

While Leona was in the hospital in a coma Dre learned what his end of the bargin he made with the comishiner  was. He had to face Ahmed Johnson, and he had to end Johnson's career.  Being a man of his word he faced Johnson in the ring. But his sense of justice wouldn't allow him to do in someone he didn't hate.  Dre quickly discovered what doing the right thing got him. He got a brutal beating by the hands of the Dark Horsemen. Then the most cruelest blow was delivered when Dre learned that Leona had rejected him and joined the Dark Horsemen. The woman he fell in love with was now against him.

Dre's fighting career didn't  get much better. After a series of losses he began to fall to the bottom of the rankings. Life for Dre got rougher.  Leona tried to kill him twice and she burned down his house forcing him to live on his boat.

Dre was then forced to work with C.I.A. agent Sonja Tate as she investigated Andrew Duckworth. On Duckworth's private island he discovered that his former fiancé Sandra was alive. The reunion, however wasn't a happy one. Sandra had arranged for Dre to come to the island so she could kill him. He learned that she was now a cyborg and she believes that it was him that tried to kill her back in India.  Dre and Sonja were able to escape the Island before it exploded killing Duckworth. Dre made it back to Anime Island where he wanted to just relax. It seemed that he would get to be able to do just that. Until he got a note from Leona.

It was then that the cruelest and most tragic events began to play out. After months of separation Dre got back with Leona.  It appeared that they had worked out everything. For Dre everything was now right in the world, however it was all a setup. The very next  week Leona's true intentions were known. During a tag match against X and Recon, of the Militia  Leona betrayed Dre again. Once again Dre was on the receiving end of beat down.  This beating however, wasn't going to end in the ring. Beaten to within an inch of his life Dre was thrown into a ambulance and crashed into a tanker truck. The resulting explosion wiped out most of Chinatown and sadly brought an end to the life of Dre Alexander.

Soukeiha [Double Power Wave]: Dre charges up and then explodes with energy. This attack is a short to medium range one best used when fighting toe-to-toe.

Koeikyaku [Tiger Shadow Kick]: This is another close range attack. Dre performs an upward thrusting kick that knocks his opponent at least seven feet in the air.

Death Bomb: Usually after the Koeikyaku Dre jumps up and grabs his opponent and power bombs them.

Head Chopper: Grabbing his opponent's arm Dre delivers a kick to the mid section, then as they double over a heel to the back of the head.

Shadow Charge:  At incredible speed Dre charges at  his opponent resulting in a powerful shoulder block.

Panther Claw: Dre leaps up into the air and then dives down at his opponent in a ball of energy that takes the form of a panther.

Mako Strike: Dre's Fireball attack.  Instead of a ball of fire, Dre channels his energy to take the form of a shark.

Thrasher Strike: Dre swings his arm creating a whip like stream of energy.

Neste Plunge: With his opponent on his shoulders Dre simply falls backwards slamming them to the ground.

Double Strike: (not to be confused with King's double strike) Dre performs an short roundhouse kick that's followed by a more powerful forward thrusting kick to the mid section.

Reverse DDT: Dre grabs his opponent by the head bending them backward then slams their head to the ground.

Nile Star: Dre focuses his energy into forming a ball. The longer he takes to form it the bigger it gets.  However the bigger the ball the slower it moves. The ball explodes on contact.
 

FINISHING MOVES:

Nile Storm: Dre focuses his energy into himself lifting him off the ground. When the power reaches its peak  he releases a shower of Nile Stars down on his opponent.

Megaladon: Dre's version of the Kamehameha wave.  Like the Mako Strike it takes the form of a shark, only this shark is sixty feet long and wipes out everything for three hundred yards.
